A board-certified fertility specialist,
practicing personally.
Dr. Shahin Ghadir is a partner physician at HRC Fertility and a prior founding partner of Southern California Reproductive Center. He is board-certified in both Obstetrics & Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility, and holds clinical faculty appointments at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and the Keck School of Medicine at USC.
A native Angeleno, he cares for individuals and families across the full arc of reproductive medicine — IVF, egg and embryo preservation, oncofertility, LGBTQ+ family building, PCOS, fibroids, and complex second opinions. Every plan is built for the person in front of him, not the average patient.

Careful evaluation. Honest conversation.
Every fertility plan is different. Ages, diagnoses, sperm parameters, prior treatments, and life circumstances all shape what the right next step looks like.
The practice is built to respect that — with careful evaluation, clear communication, and an honest read on what a specific plan is likely to accomplish.

Reproductive medicine evolves. Techniques are adopted when the evidence supports better outcomes.
A life outside the clinic.
Long days in reproductive medicine are grounded by ordinary ones — cooking at home, time with family, and a quiet distance from the screen.
It's a small thing, but the perspective shapes the way appointments feel: unhurried, personal, and human.
